REQUIREMENTS FOR CAMP GO BEYOND

WELCOME TO CGB 2024 APPLICATION PAGE

Please read the notice below before opening the 2024 application.

Please answer the following questions:

1. All attendees, are ALL your immunizations up to date?

• YES. Go to question 2.

• NO. Do you plan to be up to date by May 1, 2024?

  • YES. Go to question 2.

  • NO. I’m exempt. Email laura.cooke@ucsf.edu before starting application.

  • NO. Do not apply for CGB 2023 camp.

2. All attendees, are you fully vaccinated against COVID-19? (Defined: TWO Modern/Pfizer and ONE booster/3^rd dose; OR ONE J&J and ONE booster/3^rd dose. Booster is approved for 12 and older. 3^rd dose approved for ages 5-11.)

   • YES. Go to Section A & B

   • NO. But I will complete my COVID vaccines by May 1, 2024. Go to Section A & B

   • NO. I have an exemption. Do not apply to CGB 2024.

   • NO. I do not plan to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Do not apply to CGB 2024 camp.

Section A: Camp Diets

1. The following diets will be available at camp summer 2024 (and a combination of any below):

• Regular, gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, vegetarian, SCD.

• Special nutrition: NG tube feedings and TPN

• We are 100% peanut and tree nut free camp.

Section B: Gender Neutral Camp

1. Camp Go Beyong is a gender neutral camp.

2. Our first summer will have bumps but we are determined to integrate a gender neutral cabin, gender inclusive facilities, activities, and language. Because it is year 1, we only have room for ONE cabin identified as gender neutral. This means only 9 campers and 3 Counselors will qualify for this cabin.

3. Gender neutral means ALL genders can apply for this cabin. With only one cabin, we can only accommodate ages 13-16. We hope that we can expand to ages 7-12 cabin in future summers. CGB will do our best to respect all requests for chosen cabin, as available.
